This lower level provides direct access to the outdoor cedar spa and infrared sauna, offering a true spa-like experience.
Step onto the spacious decks that blend nature with tranquility, perfect for morning coffee, sunset lounging, or al fresco dining by the BBQ grill. The extra-large cedar tub is ideal for stargazing, while the sauna adds to the retreat’s relaxation offerings. Electric vehicle chargers are available on-site, and parking is provided for up to three cars.

NEIGHBORHOOD INFO:
Located in the heart of Topanga Canyon, just 6 miles from Pacific Coast Highway and a mile from Topanga’s shops, coffee spots, and restaurants, this home is nestled next to Topanga State Park with hiking trails and stunning views. A car is highly recommended for exploring the area, as the final stretch up the steep driveway requires careful navigation, but the reward is unparalleled serenity and breathtaking vistas. The property is equipped with an EV charger for convenience.
While you can unwind and relax at the house, a car offers easy access to a wealth of attractions within a two-hour radius. For those seeking a more relaxed vacation, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are available for trips to nearby destinations. Whether you prefer adventure or tranquility, this home provides both accessibility and a peaceful retreat.

By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement. You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement.
Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!
All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team is the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one!
PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For month+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.
Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Any violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a minimum $250 fine.

The house was great and the view magnificent! The house provided wonderful space for us to be together as a family, but also gave people space for a bit of alone time. We really appreciated the quick responses to all our questions and appreciated how well stocked the house was. We will definitely return to this beautiful home!

We stayed at the Hillside Hideaway in Topanga Canyon for three weeks in December while my husband was recovering from surgery.
I chose this property for its location, well-equipped kitchen, and sauna—and it did not disappoint! If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. The space was incredibly cozy and had a wonderfully “homey” feel, which was exactly what we needed.
The views are sweet, and the home is just minutes from stores in Topanga Canyon. As someone who’s not a fan of city living, this location was perfect—peaceful and away from the hustle of LA, yet close enough for trips into the city when necessary.
The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. The hosts were extremely responsive and went above and beyond to help us when we encountered minor issues with the house and during the Malibu fire.
I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
