Starting March 2024, we’re thrilled to introduce our latest offering – a serene wellness area now available for our guests in the garage! Take a moment to rejuvenate with our brand-new 2-person infrared sauna and a selection of fitness essentials, including meditation benches, yoga mats, foam rollers, resistance bands, and more. To ensure your safety and enjoyment, guests must complete a liability waiver before utilizing the equipment.

Folding high-chair and Pack ’n Play/travel crib available on request. Let us know if you need one and we will have it delivered after check-in.

Guests will have access to the entire home and the driveway to park. There will be no one else on the property, other than the weekly gardener and pool man, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance.

All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team is the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one!

The Palm Springs community is a vibrant place to enjoy all that the area has to offer. There is a great downtown area, full of restaurants and shopping, and the city of Palm Springs is investing heavily to become a top tier destination for travelers.

Tahquitz River Estates: The neighborhood was first fashioned in the early 1930s to build small Spanish Revival homes. Now, thanks to earthmovers and a bridge, the neighborhood has expanded to incorporate many modernist homes, quirky motor courts, hotels by noted architects Howard Lapham and Hugh Kaptur, an Albert Frey-designed church and what may Palm Springs first modernist residence – a home dating to 1933 by architect William Gray Powell.

Most people choose to have a car when visiting Southern California. There are an abundant amount of unique and significant attractions within two hours of this home. If you’re an explorer, we recommend a car.

If you’re the type that wants to arrive and relax at the house on your vacation, Uber and Lyft are readily available as well.

Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience.

Please note that in the State of CA, guests staying over 30 nights are legally required to sign a legal CAR form with the DRE. Our Broker of Record will send you this CAR form for signature once payment is made. Your reservation will be considered ready to go once the form is signed!

Our experienced agents in Southern California at OpenAiRE Brokerage are specifically trained at helping our clients find the ideal vacation home that can be monetized when not in use. Our local, experienced agents are readily available to take you on a tour of homes to get to know the community.

At Open Air Homes, we strive to give you such a great experience, that you will consider us for Property Management if and when you buy. Our goal is to provide unforgettable, relaxing vacations to our guests, and we aim to take care of all of the needs of this property before you step foot in the home.

This property has a private pool and spa that can be heated during your stay. The nightly rate for this option is $75 to heat to a standard temperature of 82 degrees. It is an additional $30/day to heat to 85 degrees and an additional $75/day to heat to 90 degrees. This is billed separately and must be confirmed and paid prior to arrival. Please let us know at the time of booking if you choose this option. *Minimum 2-days of heat required **Please note, the pool and spa cannot be heated at the same time and heat will transfer between one system or the other based on guest preference

PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For month+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company.

There is a 10-day grace period to return any items taken from the home at check out (keys, garage remotes, etc). Any items not returned within this window are subject to payment of replacement costs.

  • We had a great stay! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as we rented bikes for the week and were a 5 min bike ride to downtown. The host was very responsive and addressed our needs very quickly. One note – the listing had made it sound that we would need to pay to have the spa heated, but upon arrival and in the guest book, we noticed that the spa was already heated. We were happy to have not paid to heat the spa or pool since water transfers from the spa to the pool anyways. Thanks an amazing stay and time in Palm Springs!

  • We enjoyed our time at Ocotillo! The big room, kitchen, bedrooms, pool and jacuzzi were as promised, comfortable and suitable for a large group. Guests particularly enjoyed the beds, pool, large dining room table and proximity to walkable restaurants, downtown and airport. There were glitches including hot water timing, garbage disposal and plumbing. Open Air was always responsive and dispatched assistance swiftly.
    Overall an impressive home that could use some TLC.

  • What a fantastic property! The bedrooms all feel very private and comfortable, and there’s plenty of communal space both indoors and out by the pool. The host was super responsive and accommodating and communicated clearly about our stay. The location was ideal on a quiet street. Would absolutely recommend this spot for a stay in Palm Springs!

  • Overall a lovely comfortable house. Had a great stay. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. However the house has started to look a little worn out probably because it has been enjoyed by other guests previously. I would still give it a five star review for comfort and Ambience.
