The Consultation
Our In-House Maintenance Manager will schedule a complimentary home consultation, either by phone or in person, to give you some pointers on turning your home into a successful short term rental. We will be looking at the layout of the home, the available amenities, and any improvements you could make that will attract guests. This is regardless of if we are the right fit for the management of your home.
We will deliver to you a personalized sheet of recommendations, both for interior and exterior maintenance and improvements. An example of a consultation is available below.
Why it Matters
Open Air Homes is building a modern-day travel accommodation brand, and as a result, we have to adhere to a high level of common amenities and comforts that our repeat guests expect. As such, our home-owning partners must be willing to financially commit to fixing known issues in the home, from air conditioning repairs to pool repairs, etc. When a known issue arises, we will happily work with our homeowners to ensure they are getting a reasonable price for repairs, but we cannot commit to managing homes in neglect. This initial complimentary home consultation will put you on the right track towards providing the comforts and luxuries that our guests expect.
If at the end of our inspection and recommendations we both feel as though Open Air Homes is a good fit, we can proceed to onboard your house onto our platform.
